Stichting Wees Kind makes sure that a child can be a child

Our objective
The main focus of our organisation is helping the children in deplorable circumstances in Peru. Children who can not lead a normal life due to bitter circumstances. Many of the children our organisation takes care of, are from the slums in the capital Lima or from the impoverished highlands surrounding Huaraz. Without our help these children may not survive.

To be able to offer these children structural aid Stichting Wees Kind develops and invests in small projects in the city of Huaraz and in the nearby villages of Monterrey and Ichoca in the department of Ancash. Huaraz has approximately 100.000 inhabitants and is situated in the Andes mountain range at 3.100 m. above sea level, north-east of Lima.
